Response of Acacia nilotica L. (Wild) to inoculation with Glomus macrocarpum and Rhizobium legiminosarum was significantly increased plant height, biomass yield, N and P uptake in roots and shoots. Rhizophagus fasciculatus inoculation alone showed moderate per cent colonization. Dual inoculated with AM fungus + Rhizobium plants showed a significant improved nodulation, Percent root colonization, biomass yield, nitrogen, phosphorous, compared to the plants those plants with single inoculation with either organism. However noninoculated (control) plants donot show significant improvement.

Keywords:
Acacia nilotica, Arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi, Glomus macrocarpum, Rhizobium, biomass yield
