Received: 05-08-2016 Revised: 21-09-2016 Accepted: 24-09-2016		Begonia liuyanii C.I. Peng, S.M. Ku & W.C. Leong, a previously known species only in Guangxi, China, has been newly recorded  in Vietnam. This species has been found in primary limestone forests in the Na Hang Nature Reserve, Tuyen Quang Province, Vietnam.
